Buck Farley is committed to fostering community development and creating opportunities for economic growth.
With large companies like Rivian and Ferrero bringing in many local jobs, Buck recognizes the importance of fair treatment, hours, and compensation for our laborers. A healthy and happy workforce is good for business and our community.
An effective county board listens to its constituents. Buck supports relaxing restrictions on public comment, and creating a more user-friendly county website.
As an Illinois native and McLean County resident for over 30 years, Buck has a deep connection to our community. He served on the alumni board for the ISU Department of Sociology and Anthropology as a founding member in its early years. For nearly 20 years he has worked as an archivist for State Farm, teaching employees and visitors the history of the company, and its hometown. Most important in his life are his wife Amy, and their four children. They are his primary motivation for running for office.
As a historian, Buck understands the importance of collaboration and communication in local government. Buck is committed to working with all McLean County residents to find common ground solutions to local problems. Learning from our past, and working in the present, Buck Farley is dedicated to building a bright and sustainable future for all of us.
